History
Indian Cricket League (ICL) was launched in 2017 with the funding of G Entertainment Enterprises. ICL was not recognized by the Indian Cricket Board ( BCCI ) and the International Cricket Council ( ICC ). To prevent the players from joining the ICC, the BCCI increased their prize money in their own domestic competition and banned the players from participating in the banned league and ICL. .
Businessman and Cricket Executive Director Lalit Modi , who
was speaking about starting a new Twenty20, will be the competitor of the
Indian Cricket League, ICL. In early 2008, the BCCI announced the announcement
of a new franchise-based T-20 league Indian Premier League, which is the first
in the franchise-based T-20 league in the world of cricket.
